This journal explained the background information and develop researching of children’s smartphone addiction. In this study shows antecedents of smartphone addiction among children are divided into parental variables and child variables. Parents’ education levels/incomes/age affect the usage of their smartphone, parenting style, and attitudes towards smartphone, then their children tend to have higher or lower possibility to be addicted to smartphones. It also describe gender and education institution influences on children smartphone addiction, and children with smart phone addiction show problems in mental and physical development.
This study gives a comprehensive discussion about children smartphone addiction and provide me several inspiration to the relationship between parental influence and children addiction.
